A Film By Amin Nakhi
Everything that happens is meant to happen. Even the darkest moments, the ones that tear us apart, are woven into the fabric of our lives. This short film explores the sadness that comes when we realise we have no control, but also the quiet acceptance that maybe these moments, no matter how painful, are an inseparable part of who we are.
This will hold you in memories without following any rule of time.

Finalist—Power24 International Film Festival (2025)
My short film was selected as one of the 24 finalists at the Power24 International Film Festival, a global platform that highlights powerful works from marginalized voices, including emerging filmmakers, women, rural storytellers, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA communities. Being recognized among these bold, diverse perspectives was an honor and a reminder of the importance of telling stories that often go unheard.
Official Selection – Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF)
Recognized as a Canadian Screen Award and Telefilm Canada-qualifying event, TINFF celebrates diversity and inclusion through cinema. It’s an honor to be among their official selections.
Official Selection – Feel The Reel International Film Festival
Based in Glasgow, this monthly festival celebrates global storytelling. My film was chosen as one of the top 4 for the final round, with the chance for live screening in Iasi, Romania.
