About the Film
Fall 2024
My first experience working with a Bolex 16mm camera! Stepping into the world of analogue filmmaking, I was able to explore the unique challenges and rewards that come with handling film from start to finish.
Working within the limitations of a 16mm setup pushed me to be more deliberate with each shot, making every frame count. The entire process—from manually setting up the shot to processing the film—was both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
A special mention to my actor, Hamid Zand, whose performance brought this project to life. It’s amazing how working with limitations can fuel creativity and help you see things from a fresh perspective!
